At EliRod Soccer Academy, we are passionate about helping young athletes unlock their full potential. Our academy provides elite soccer training and holistic development to nurture future stars of African football.
Ellias & Rodney Darkwah Kofi, born on September 12, 2014, are the twin sons of Chairman Kwame Kyerema Darkwah (K.K.D.). Raised in Belgium, they developed a deep passion for football, beginning their journey at the age of 5 with FC Lebbeke, where they played for three seasons.
Recognized for their talent, they were scouted by KAA Gent (Buffalo), where they now play for the Under-11 team. Inspired by Ghanaian football legends and encouraged by their father, Ellias and Rodney are dedicated to helping underprivileged and homeless children in Ghana discover and develop their football talents.
Through their initiative, EliRod, they aim to create opportunities for young athletes, providing them with the support they need to pursue their dreams and transform lives in Sunyani, Ghana.
About Us
Since our inception in May 2024, EliRod Soccer Academy has been committed to developing the future of soccer by providing elite training and fostering a love for the game. We've grown from a small local program to one of the premier soccer academies in Sunyani, Ghana, with a total of 62 players aged 9-15.
Our academy offers a structured and supportive environment where players of all skill levels can grow and succeed. Whether your child is new to the game or aiming for the next level, we are here to guide their development and prepare them for success on and off the field.

Our Founders
Kwame Kyerema Darkwah, originally from Ghana and now a Belgian citizen, is a dedicated philanthropist and business coach. With a diploma in Education and several professional qualifications, he has spent his career uplifting communities across Africa and Europe.
As the founder of Purpose Academy and CEO of GH Purpose TV, Kwame focuses on equipping individuals with transformative knowledge and professional skills. He also chairs Family Journey with Christ International Ministry, promoting peace initiatives and spiritual growth.
Kwame is the visionary behind EliRod Soccer Academy, where he combines his passion for football and youth development to create opportunities for young athletes in Sunyani, Ghana.
Our Deputy Director
Mrs. Patricia Adu is the Deputy Director of EliRod Soccer Academy and the wife of Kwame Kyerema Darkwah. With a background in sports management and youth development, she plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of the academy.
Patricia has been instrumental in helping to create the academy. She is passionate about empowering young athletes and providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed both on and off the field. Her dedication and commitment to the academy's mission are evident in her work and the positive impact she has on the lives of the young athletes.
